United Review: Young reds progress against Wolves

 Wolves 0 - 0 Manchester United (Manchester United win 4-1 on penalties) Manchester United Under 21's progressed in the Papa John's Trophy. Could they reach Wembley? It looks like United will be without their French defender for a while United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Raphael Varane will be unavailable until at least the World Cup, after sustaining an injury against Chelsea. United News: Cristiano Ronaldo returns to training

What's the latest with Cristiano Ronaldo? Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to group training at United's training ground. Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham last Wednesday and was subsequently dropped for Saturday's 1-1 draw at Chelsea. Ten Hag later said there had to be "consequences" for his actions. It is understood there has since been communication between Ronaldo and Ten Hag over the the past few days.
