United Review: Giant step taken towards Wembley

Nottingham Forest 0 - 3   Manchester United It was a comfortable evening for United Marcus Rashford continued his sensational scoring streak at the City Ground as United closed in on an EFL Cup final appearance at Wembley next month with a comfortable win over Nottingham Forest. His brilliant solo effort gave United the advantage six minutes into the first leg of the semi-final. United Review: Late goal dents momentum

Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Manchester United A late free-kick from Crystal Palace's Michael Olise denied Manchester United a victory that would have taken them second in the Premier League. United were on course for their 10th successive win after Bruno Fernandes scored just before half-time when he finished well following Christian Eriksen's pull-back. Three minutes later, De Gea was forced into another fine stop, punching away Marc Guehi's header. This was all before a late Palace goal. Has that dented United's momentum? In a match dominated by the Reds, headed goals from Diogo Dalot and Marcus Rashford in each half were added to by a late Cristiano Ronaldo strike to settle the victory.
