United Review: MUFC cruise into next round of Europa League

 Real Betis 0 - 1 Manchester United (Aggregate 1 - 5) After this clinical win, United will face another trip to Seville in the next round.  They cruised into the quarter-finals of the Europa League with a 5-1 aggregate win at Real Betis. United Review: Important win a sign of progress

 Manchester United 2 - 1 Crystal Palace

United earned an important 2-1 win against a stubborn Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes netted the opener with a first-half strike from the penalty spot. Marcus Rashford then made it 2-0 early in the second.

This was a match dominated by United. However threatened to be turned on its head minutes later though. Casemiro was shown a red card following a melee involving multiple players.

The one-man advantage that Crystal Palace had meant the visitors had the momentum to get back in the game. They pulled a goal back through Jeffrey Schlupp. The Reds held on during a frantic end to the match to claim all three points.

Another United fan told us: "This feels like a very important win for us. We dominated the game for around 70 minutes before the red card and the Crystal Palace goal. The character on display after that was perhaps a sign that we are going in a positive direction."

Marcus Rashford's 100th Manchester United goal was enough to beat West Ham United and provide a fitting tribute to a special 85th anniversary for the Old Trafford club.
