United Review: United move into the top four

 Wolves 0 - 1 Manchester United

Marcus Rashford came off the bench to help United move into the top four.

The stage was set for Rashford to make the difference when the in-form forward entered at half-time in place of Alejandro Garnacho.

United had shown glimpses of promise, but with 76 minutes on the clock, Rashford provided the game’s first moment of true quality. His 11th goal of the season was sufficient to lift his side above Tottenham, who host Aston Villa on Sunday, and into fourth.

Wolves 0 - 1 MUFC

It was a typically well-taken goal by Rashford, manufactured out of nowhere. United have now won five consecutive matches in all competitions for the first time since April 2021.

It was also easy to see why Ten Hag is so determined to add another forward in the January transfer window. United didn't look great in the first half from an attacking perspective. Defensively, the Red Devils looked solid again even with Luke Shaw at centre-back.

Reaction

Let's explore some of the best reaction from United fans from across the world. One fan said: "There’s a steeliness about MUFC that hasn’t been there for a long time. A good spine and some talented creative players, supplemented by a decent bit of depth."

Andy, a United fan from Glasgow told us, "Competitive, fighting for every 50/50 and creating chances. Miles from the finished article. Ten Hag is always the first to say that."

United Review: Reds hold on for vital win

Manchester United 1 - 0 West Ham United What were your thoughts as United held on for a vital Premier League win. Marcus Rashford's 100th Manchester United goal was enough to beat West Ham United and provide a fitting tribute to a special 85th anniversary for the Old Trafford club. In what turned out to be a thrilling finish, David de Gea made fantastic saves to deny Michail Antonio and Kurt Zouma. Then, with almost the final move of the game, he turned away a thunderous Declan Rice effort. Fan comments Danny was sat in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand at Old Trafford.
